A lot of emails about one label, that was incalculable with the speed at which Group of Butchers works. The risk of not continuing with the right PDF became too great. Within Group of Butchers, various departments are now working together; sales, marketing, quality, specification management, business office and the relevant production locations. No one has their own Excel list on a central server anymore, where someone else can't access. They were able to cancel a number of forms because their content was able to integrate into the process within AWC. That saves duplication of work.

Another great advantage is that people are not dependent on others. They manage the database themselves, and therefore do not have to request artworks from customers or suppliers. Especially at a time when raw materials are scarce and you still want to keep up the pace, this flexibility is of great value.

Streamline

To keep up with the new influx of products and associated packaging, there is a need for a streamlined way of working. Group of Butchers works with a very short lead time. That starts with being able to easily store artworks, which everyone can access quickly. In addition, artworks must also be easy to find and traceable to the associated products. The implementation of AWC for Group of Butchers therefore took into account the ease of searching, finding and using metadata, so that there is less risk of errors.

Process

Together with Artwork Connect, an analysis was made of the artwork process. Based on this analysis, process support has been built into the system. With the process in Artwork Connect, all steps have been arranged in the right order, checks are carried out where necessary and approval has been recorded.
