Commodity shortages and sharp price increases

The food industry is struggling with scarcity and high prices of raw materials such as coffee, grains, sugar and vegetable oils. As a result, making products with the usual raw materials is increasingly complicated and has consequences for price agreements.

Alternative sunflower oil on packaging

Due to the war in Ukraine, the availability of sunflower oil is expected to decline sharply. Processors and users of sunflower oil in the food industry are looking for alternatives such as linseed, rapeseed or palm oil. The right alternative depends, of course, on the product in which it is processed.

Change in packaging declaration

If sunflower oil is no longer used in a product, the packaging will have to be adjusted because the ingredients and therefore nutritional value change.

Being able to adjust packaging quickly is now even more important. With Artwork Connect, you have all the information quickly ready and distributed to all links. This way, you prevent unnecessary loss of time and thus higher costs.
In view of the situation in Ukraine, we hope that this is only temporary.
